A Escola Secundária Martins Sarmento está envolvida no projeto "Integrated Curriculum Educational RenaissanceSTEM+PHASE". O projeto visa contribuir para o desenvolvimento dos alunos nas áreas STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) com base na implementação de trabalhos de cariz transversal às várias áreas da ciência e não só.
Assim, se gostas de desafios, de intercâmbios culturais, de ciências e tecnologia e de praticar inglês, põe mãos à obra e prepara a tua apresentação para te juntares ao projeto e integrar o grupo de alunos que irá a Eindhoven, na Holanda, em maio de 2018, apresentar os trabalhos desenvolvidos na escola.
Os alunos que pretendem integrar o projeto terão de preparar uma apresentação pessoal tendo como base o tema "Self discovery" onde deverão,entre outras, salientar em que medida o seu perfil se enquadra num projeto deste âmbito e em que medida será uma mais valia para o projeto. Saliente-se que os principais temas a desenvolver transdisciplinarmente neste primeiro ano do projeto são: "Global warming"; "Ourlifesource - Water"; "Human body" e "Olympics".
Os alunos interessados deverão contactar o professor coordenador do projeto até ao dia 8 de novembro. As sessões de apresentação dos alunos realizar-se-ão entre os dias 9 e 15 de novembro, em sala a designar, perante o grupo de professores envolvidos no projeto responsável pela seleção de alunos.
The Martins Sarmento Secondary School is involved in the project "Integrated Curriculum Educational Renaissance STEM+PHASE". The project aims to contribute to the development of students in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) areas, based on the implementation of works of transversal character to the various areas of science and beyond. Therefore, if you like challenges, cultural exchanges, science and technology and also practising English, get down to work and prepare your presentation to join the project and be part of the group of students that will go to Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, in May 2018, to present the work developed at school. Students who want to integrate the project will have to prepare a personal presentation based on the topic "Self-discovery" where they should, among others, emphasize the extent to which their profile fits into a project of this scope and to what extent they will be an added value for the project. Please notice that the main themes to be developed in a transdisciplinary way in this first year of the project are: "Global warming"; "Our life source - Water"; "Human body" and "Olympics". Students who are interested in participating should contact the teacher who is coordinating of the project until the 8rd of November. The presentation sessions will take place between the 9th and the 15th of November, in a room that will beindicated in due time, in front of the group of teachers involved in the project and who will be responsible for the students selection.
